1. Draining the Viking

• Unplug the chiller before starting any maintenance.

• Close both grey valves on the Viking to stop water flow.

• Attach a garden hose to the bottom drain valve for easy draining.

• Open the drain valve and allow the water to fully empty.

2. Cleaning the Viking

• Disconnect the hoses after draining to prevent soap from entering the system.

• Scrub the interior with mild dish soap (e.g., Dawn) using a soft sponge or brush.

• Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue.

• Securely close the drain valve and both grey valves when finished.

3. Refilling the Viking

• Ensure all valves are closed before refilling.

• Reconnect the hoses to the chiller.

• Refill the Viking until the water level is about four fingers below the top port.

• Open both grey valves to allow water flow.

• Plug the chiller back in (If needed, please refer to your Viking Model installation guide available in our Help Center.)
